THE PROBLEM

Presenting the career offers of the advertisement agency in an interesting and engaging way.

An Advertisement Agency in Poland (Active Pharma) decided to create a brand new job portal. The agency is a small company with a vibrant and creative culture. It hires young talents. The task was to show these aspects of the business while presenting job offers in a clean way.

UNDERSTANDING THE USER

The website praca.activepharma.pl was aimed towards future employees of the agency. As the slogan on the main page states that the future employees should be: creative, passionate, honest and willing to develop.

Based on the current employees and culture of the company we targeted people between 20 to 45 years old who are interested in working in the creative industry and is closely related to modern technologies.

Information about the recruitment process

DESIGN

The design and information architecture had to face one the most important requirement: answer all the questions and invite future candidates to submit their applications. 

1st step - proper information architecture

I have been given the text that the website had to contain, it was my responsibility to organize it and present it in the most intuitive way.

2nd step - Wireframes

The next step was designing every subpage of the page. At first on paper then in Photoshop.

3rd step - Design

Imagery

Images were carefully selected as the main way of communicating the ideas of the agency. Pictures had to show, young professionals with passion and enthusiasm. 

Colors

Brand's main color - bright orange - was selected first for the color palette. This color set the whole mood of the plate - as intensive, lively and bright. I chose colors accordingly to what department of the company they are going to represent.

Visual Stories

Working with a long text is always a challenge. How to show instead of saying? I decided to organize the text in chunks and in a more pleasant and visual way. A more visual way of presenting the text increases the readability and makes the text more easy to digest.

4 the step - Development and responsive design

People mostly look for a job within the comfort of their houses, I started designing first for the web. During the development process, the website was adjusted to smaller resolutions - mobile. 

User's journey

The most important aim of the website is to inform the future applicant about the job offers, recruitment process, and the Company. These three make up the most important information that the applicant needs during making a decision about sending a CV.

Visual Stories

The best way of presenting a lot of text is diving it into smaller portions and providing visual cues that make the text more digestible, readable and memorable.

Company's Identity

Active Pharma is a fast growing innovative digital agency that hires young talents. The job portal resembles the core values of the company and  strongly connects with the Brand Identity
